Park the car. No traffic or parking worries as you can easily walk everywhere from this perfect location. It is an ideal spot for relaxing and enjoying all our area has to offer. Gooch's Beach is 10 blocks down the street and the Lower Village/Dock Square is just 2 blocks away. Here you'll find all the restaurants, shops, art galleries, excursions for whale watching, sailing and boating, churches, and parks. This historical area is buzzing with visitors so our location makes it convenient to enjoy the activities without concerns of parking and driving.
Our home has been recently rennovated to retain it's old charm and architecture, yet provide the comfort and convenience of new. It is a small two story turn of the century house with two bedrooms, a sitting area, and full bath upstairs.The bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the second with twin beds have original wide pine floors. Hardwood and tile complete the rest of the home. The kitchen, living room and 1/2 bath are on the first floor. The roomy kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven/range, refrigerator, island counter, and dining table.
The private back yard has a brick patio with a grill and outdoor furniture for dining or just relaxing. There are sand chairs,umbrellas and amenities for a walk to the beach. Or, a parking pass is provided if you elect to drive to the beach.

We had a wonderful time staying in this adorable beach house. Located walking distance to both shops and the beach of Kennebunkport. We did however use the car to go to the beach but we could have easily done without and walked or biked almost everywhere - which is a bonus as I imagine in peek times there can be traffic congestion. The house has been recently renovated with tasteful coastal themed decor, and the linens are top quality. We were very impressed with both the style and quality of everything. The kitchen is well stocked for those that love to cook, but if you prefer to eat out, there are many restaurants a stones throw away. The owners were very helpful and friendly and obviously take pride in their house, and want their guest to be comfortable. It is cleaned to perfection, and feels fresh. We have two young children (3 & 6) and they enjoyed discovering the grandchildren's toys hidden in a cupboard. It is the perfect house for a couple or a small family getaway. We would stay there again in a heart beat.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We couldn't have chosen a better home than this one.In a charming setting within walking distance to the town center was really convenient.Recently redecorated and adorned with nautical items set the stage for the charm that it was.Meticulously clean throughout was an immediate plus.The kitchen was well equipped,again with tastefully chosen items from top to bottom,and all new.Clean bright bathrooms,and really comfortable beds.This whole house was the rarely found combination of antique charm and the new.For Al Fresco lovers we loved eating outside whenever we could.Failing that there was an abundance of superb restaurants close by.Kennebunk beach was a 10 minute walk away so we drove there to take beach equipment which the ownners provided.Speaking of which,the owners were at all times really helpful and attentive.They responded immediately to our needs.We wouldn't hesutate to come back to this fine home and would recommend it to anyoneiRecommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.
